Potrero Digital is a network of learning centers in the digital trades aimed at generating employment and obtaining work in the digital economy. We provide training in digital trades to people over 16 years of age who face socioeconomic barriers, and we link them to job opportunities in the digital labor market.
Created in 2018, it provides high-quality digital education and the tools necessary to obtain employment in high-growth sectors, such as the technology and knowledge industries. Potrero Digital promotes a more diverse, inclusive, and competitive digital economy in Latin America, providing equal opportunity to all.
This program combines the knowledge acquired by Fundación Compromiso over the last quarter of a century. Its foundation relies on the harmonious intertwining of values: imagination, creativity, sustainability, volunteering, business support: social impact. These cornerstones are what activate the virtuous cycle of which the “third sector” is capable.
In 2020, Potrero Digital expanded its reach regionally. In addition to implementing pilot projects in countries such as Uruguay, Chile and Mexico, Campinho Digital was inaugurated in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, with the help of local and regional partners and allies.
In 2021, a Digital English content proposal was developed, strengthened and improved by its own teaching team, including conversation workshops for the entire student community. Likewise, the Re/Start training course for Cloud solutions was incorporated with free official certification through an exclusive alliance with Amazon Web Services, allowing Potrero Digital to be part of a network of collaborating organizations throughout the Latin America region.
In 2022, Potrero Digital expanded throughout the country, reaching Rosario and Santa Cruz, and was recognized by the E-Ecumenical Social Forum with the Solidarity Entrepreneur award.

Potrero Empleos' mission is to promote the entry of Potrero Digital graduates into the IT and digital labor market. We guide them to meet their work and personal goals, driving them closer to opportunities for employment.
We empower talent with a strategic perspective, generating value through the economy of knowledge.
We develop partnerships with companies that incorporate IT and digital talent into their work teams.
We analyze, disseminate proposals, and make a pre-selection of profiles according to the requirements of each search received.
We guide our graduates throughout the process of selection, insertion, and adaptation to their new work environment.

Creativity, Culture and Capital brings together international leaders who believe that art, design, culture, heritage, and creativity can benefit people, communities, and the planet, and that impact capital will be a fundamental tool to support the growth and positive development of the global creative economy.
Created by Fundación Compromiso and in collaboration with Nesta, the UK-based innovation foundation, and Upstart Co-Lab, the US-based Impact Investment Opportunity Generator, Creativity, Culture and Capital was launched in early 2021. This was the United Nations International Year of the Creative Economy for Sustainable Development.
Creativity, Culture and Capital highlights the need and opportunity for impact investment to support renewed and substantial growth of the sector, along with continued government funding, philanthropic support, and investments that aim to maximize their returns at a time when art organizations and creative industries are thinking about how best to rebuild themselves after a global pandemic that triggered serious economic consequences for all communities.
In 2022, we reached the goal of 100 essays, where 100 leaders discuss the creative economy and impact investment. At Fundación Compromiso, we are dedicated to the promulgation of this digital library to promote impact investment in Latin America. This encompasses a variety of initiatives that make a positive impact through creativity and culture, and the innovative ways in which value-aligned capital is used to fund them.

The Compromiso Conference is a space where the capacities of distinct social actors are strengthened.
Year after year leaders of social organizations, leaders in CSR and Sustainability, academics, and representatives of the public sector meet (this year for the first time virtually) to provide an opportunity to exchange experiences and learning, seeking to promote and strengthen the generation of content and projects together.
The Conference is established as a milestone in innovation and strategic development for the measurement and management of social impact in organizations. This event, scheduled for September 2024, aims to empower social organizations to enhance their impact with a results-oriented approach.
